Quick Update: New Visual Timeline Project

It has been a long while since I have given an update on my research, and to be honest it is because there was a moment of burn out after that spree in March and into early April. But I am back to introduce a new material I will be hyperfixating on instead of 1890s film (for those who follow my Letterboxd, I am so sorry for bloating your feed). As a teacher, I realised that I should provide more supporting materials for people wanting to get into vampirology, and help provide further resources for people to really know what I keep yammering on about. So, as a history teacher, I am going to make timelines for people who need a visual representation of historical events.

And of course, I will make updates on my thinking and my progress, so that I actually finish the initial stage of this project. I want to compile major landmarks in vampire studies, in film, literature, and folklore; and show the connections and proxemics to these different moments in history. It won’t be perfect on first publication, but I will keep up on new additions as they are made aware to me. As the first is going to take the longest to make, I will try to keep it as organised as possible so that it can be a practical tool for both casual amateurs and serious scholars alike.
